Mr. Charles Berry Elrod

Mr. Charles Berry Elrod, age 64 of Adairsville, Ga., passed away on Friday, January 24th, 2025 at a local hospital surrounded by his family. 

Mr. Elrod was born in Trenton, Georgia on March 10th, 1960 to the late Charlie Lee Elrod and the late Mildred Sue Daugherty Elrod. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Ann Jenkins Elrod; one brother, Allen Lee Elrod; one sister, Shirley Elrod. Mr. Elrod was a painter by trade and it was something he took great pride in. He was mechanically gifted as well and in his spare time he was known to have a “magic touch” when he worked on vehicles, always figuring out exactly what needed to be done. When he chose to have some downtime he enjoyed watching wrestling, laughing and joking around with his friends and if a country song came on, you could find him showing off his moves on any dance floor he could find or create! Wherever he was, a good time was sure to be had. Of all his pastimes, spending time with his family was always his favorite thing to do. He will forever be missed by all those who knew him.

Survivors include his three sons, James Adam Elrod, Tyler Lee Elrod, and David Lee Elrod (Kayla); three daughters, Wanda Chrily Stansberry (Tommy), Mary Sue Elrod, and Sherry Sue Elrod; eight grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; best-friends, Charley Edmundson, Josh Holcomb, and Lewis Fleming. 

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Elrod was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
