Darlene Ferguson

Ms. Darlene Ferguson, age 61 of Rome, Ga., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, November 25th, 2024. 

Ms. Ferguson was born in Cedartown, Ga., on October 6th, 1963, to the late Henry Ferguson Jr., and the late Mary Helen Smith Ferguson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Steve Ferguson. She loved to sing karaoke, watch girls’ softball, and watch Joel Osteen. Ms. Ferguson was of the Baptist faith. 

Survivors include her son, Jason Ferguson and his wife Nellie of Rome; two grandchildren, Jacoby Delevie and Karla Ferguson; two brothers, Johnny Ferguson and Larry Ferguson and his wife Evelyn; one sister, Melissa Rayburn and her husband Junior; one great-granddaughter, Jayden Ferguson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 30th, 2024, at 2 PM in the Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Chambers officiating. Nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday November 30th from 12 PM until 2 PM at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
