Dr. Andrey Alexandrovich Ilyasov

Dr. Andrey Alexandrovich Ilyasov, age 60, of Rome, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 27th, 2025, at his residence.

Andrey was born in Crimea, Russia on August 21st, 1964, a son of the late Alexander Ilyasov and Lydia Ilyasova.

Dr. Ilyasov was an esteemed physician, running two Hospitalist programs and was loved and known by his peers, colleagues, nurses, and patients as being compassionate and caring. His love carried over to his 5 children, who were without a doubt, his greatest passion. Andrey enjoyed exploring the world and experiencing new places with his wife and children. His travels included Portugal, Israel, Canada, Russia, St. Lucia, St. Thomas, Nantucket, New York, New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Washington D.C., among others. He was an incredible friend and stayed close to many all over the world as well, including Israel, Russia, Ukraine, New York, Florida, and the list continues. Of all the places he visited, he had a special place in his heart for the State of Florida and he hoped one day to retire there. Outside of his home in Georgia and Russia, Florida was the place that he spent most of his time in and where he liked taking fishing charters. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing with his children, hunting with his father in law, and growing various types of fruit and nut trees. His special passion for his trees had him growing a walnut orchard at one home and the cultivating of figs, pomegranates, pears, apricots, cherries, currents, and even blueberry bushes at his current home. His zest for life, compassionate spirit, many talents, and love for others will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cassie Ilyasova; three sons, Alexander, Aristarchus, and Dmitri Ilyasov; two daughters, Anna and Lydia Ilyasova; mother, Lydia Ilyasova; one brother, Dmitri Ilyasov (Irina).

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, at 1:00PM from the Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Home with Father Gabriel Davis and Father David Burrows officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 1st from 4 PM until 6 PM at the funeral home.
