Mrs. Evelyn Marie Adams

Mrs. Evelyn Marie Adams, age 86 of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026 at a local assisted living facility.

Mrs. Adams was born in Cleveland, Tennessee on February 15th, 1940, a daughter of the late Tom Myers and the late Viola Williams Myers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Erwin Adams; one son, Steven Wade Kennett; one daughter, Katie Davis; one brother, James Franklin Myers; three sisters, Nancey Darlene Slone, Tommie Adams, and Florence Gean Lewallen. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her two daughters, Martha Ann Mcintosh and Janice Bickert (George); six grandchildren, Angela Marie Bradford, Marquetta Sheree Wahlbring, Mandy Bentley, Kara Goode, Michael Mcintosh, and Jake Mcintosh; two brothers, Buck Myers (Sandy) and Lawrence “Dean” Myers (Carolyn); two sisters, Shirley Jo White and Mary Ann Myer (Paul); eight great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026, at 1 PM at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, 1411 Old Parksville Rd NE, Cleveland, TN., 37323, with Rev. George Gray officiating. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers include T.J Bradford, Buck Myers, and Dean Myers.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 16th from 5 PM until 7 PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.
