Henry Joseph Skrocki

Mr. Henry Joseph Skrocki, age 78 of Adairsville, Ga., passed away on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024, at his residence. 

Mr. Skrocki was born in New Jersey on December 15th, 1946. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother. Mr. Skrocki was a veteran, having served in the United States Marine Corp until his honorable discharge. After his tenure with the Marine Corp, he worked with the Publishing Union until his retirement. He enjoyed spending his weekends on his cabin cruiser on the California Delta. He loved fishing, making metal jewelry, and spending Christmas Eve with his children and grandchildren. Mr. Skrocki owned and operated his own gym and could often be found working out or shooting pool. 

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Mrs. Cheri Cantrell of Adairsville; four daughters, Lisa Duron and her husband Jesse of California, Christine Ochoa and her husband Frankie of California, Stephanie Hornbuckle and her husband Robert of Marietta, and Melanie Harding of Summerville; several grandchildren. 

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Skrocki was cremated, and a Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced later. 

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to the Blue Skies Riding Academy and Horse Sanctuary c/o 501 Puckett Rd Emerson, GA 30137.
