Mr. Jason Lee Davis

Mr. Jason Lee Davis, 55, of Rome, Georgia, passed away on July 15, 2026, at a local hospital, surrounded by the love of his family.

Jason was born on June 2, 1971, in Rome, Georgia. He lived life in a way that was uniquely his own. If you ever met Jason, chances are you walked away with a smile. He had a gift for making people laugh, he never met a stranger, and could strike up a conversation with absolutely anyone willing to listen. His personality was larger than life. He was a talented construction craftsman with an incredible mind for his work. Those who knew him would probably agree, he was somehow one of the smartest and dumbest people you’d ever meet and that’s exactly what made him Jason. Jason had a heart that cared deeply for others, sometimes more than he cared for himself. He wasn’t perfect, and he’d be the first to admit that. There were times he could test your patience, but there were just as many times he reminded you why you loved him. No matter what, he always found his way back to the people who mattered most.

He is survived by his loving mother, Betty Jean; his uncles Gary, Scott, and Norman; his aunts Helen, Kay, and Brenda; his sisters, Kayla and Talena; his daughter, Libby; his beloved granddaughter, Scarlett Rose; and many cherished friends whose lives were made better simply by knowing him.

Jason was welcomed into eternity by his father, Mitchell; his sister, Stacey; his stepfather, Hank; and his stepbrother, Kenneth.

While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in imagining the reunion taking place in Heaven. We can only imagine the laughter that filled the room when Jason walked through those gates. His stories, his jokes, his stubbornness, and his enormous heart will be deeply missed, but the memories he gave us will continue to make us smile for years to come.

Rest easy, Snaggle aka Kracker. Your work here is done, but your laughter and the love you left behind will never be forgotten.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Davis was cremated and a memorial service is being planned for a later time.

Reynolds Funeral Home of Rome is honored to be in charge of arrangements for Mr. Jason Lee Davis.
