Mr. Jeffery Lane Chastain

Mr. Jeffery Lane Chastain, age 59 of Rome, Georgia passed away on Friday, April 11th, 2025, at a local hospital.

Mr. Chastain was born in Floyd County on July 6th, 1965, to the late Dennis Chastain and Betty Jean Heath Chastain. Mr. Chastain dedicated over 20 years of his life to Shaw Industries, where he was a valued and hardworking employee. A passionate sports fan, Mr. Chastain was a die-hard supporter of the New England Patriots, with Tom Brady being his all-time favorite player. He never missed a chance to cheer on his team during football season. In the warmer months, he found great joy in watching Braves baseball. Mr. Chastain's love for sports reflected his enthusiasm for life and the connections he made with those around him. He will be remembered fondly by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lisa Whorton Chastain; special friend, "Moodini"; one brother, Terry Chastain; one sister, Tina Culberson.

In accordance with his wishes and a Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 17th, 2025 at 1 PM in the event hall at Pine Ridge Apartment Complex, 64 Lyons Drive NW, Rome, Ga 30165
