Ray Neal Taff Jr.

Mr. Ray Neal Taff Jr. was born on February 12, 1960, as the third child of Ray and Ellen Taff. He transitioned to his heavenly home on Sunday August 20th, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Roy Daniel Taff.

Ray or “Slim” was many things to many people. He was a son, brother, husband, father, and a good friend. He was a simple man who lived a simple life. His ability to be the life of the party was unmatched. He had a special way of making the loneliest people feel seen. Ray was a tough and fearless man who overcame many obstacles. His family and friends now rejoice that he can rest in glory with those who have already finished their race.

Survivors include his son, Ray Taff (Kelsey) of Adairsville; one brother, James Walter Taff; one sister, Patricia Hout of Marietta; his loving ex-wife, Marcene Taff of Cartersville; one grandchild, Delilah Rose

The family welcomes all those who wish to celebrate the life of Ray Neal Taff Jr. to join them Saturday August 26th, 2023, at Open Bible Wesleyan Church of Cartersville, Georgia from 1pm until 3pm.

The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the service hour at the church.
