Mr. Robert Walter Asztalos

Mr. Robert Walter Asztalos, age 80, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 9th, 2025, at a local hospital.

Mr. Asztalos, was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on April 1st, 1945, to the late Joseph Asztalos and the late Anna Lavko Asztalos. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, James Earnest Asztalos and one sister, Barbara Ann Asztalos Columbus.

Mr. Asztalos was an adventurer and loved traveling. This led to him living and exploring many states and a few countries. He enjoyed cars and the speed of them. He was known to drag race a few in his younger years and could always be counted on to watch his favorites as they took off down the track. His favorite times were spent at the professional dog shows though. He was a master dog groomer and a professional judge as well. His canine friends (and their humans) were what brought him great joy. He will most certainly be missed in the field by all those who encountered him and loved him.

Survivors include his brother, Richard Frank Asztalos; and his extended family; and his many special friends he met in his journey of life.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Asztalos was cremated and no further services are scheduled at this time.
