Ms. Susan "Sue" Marie Maraman, age 81, of Adairsville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Ms. Maraman was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on May 16th, 1944, to the late Nan L. Hall. Along with her mother, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd Hall and Jimmy Hall; two sisters, Nancy Hall and Tricia Hall.
Ms. Maraman was thoughtful, kind, and loving, In her early years, she and her brother enjoyed dancing the jitterbug and they won many dance competitions! She was an adventurer and loved to road trip, especially to Wisconsin, where she could have her favorite lobster bake. Sue dedicated herself to being the best Mom and Grandmother, making memories with her grandkids that they now look fondly back on. Family gatherings, with Thanksgiving at the top of the list, were always a highlight for her. She was poised and proud, a true lady, and she conveyed this from her appearance to her everyday walk of life. In her downtime, she loved playing a good game of Yahtzee, watching Star Trek and other science fiction, and you could count on her having a steaming cup of coffee in her hand, no matter what time of day it was! She counted yellow roses as her favorite flowers and considered her Catholic Faith to be what sustained her. Sue will be missed tremendously by her family, friends, and those who were lucky enough to know her.
Survivors include her devoted daughter, Shelly Brunton; two grandsons, Joshua Jarsonbeck and Jason Jarsonbeck; six great grandchildren, Lillie Jarsonbeck, Evelyn Jarsonbeck, Arrianna Jarsonbeck, Lincoln Jarsonbeck, Wyatt Jarsonbeck, Charlie Marie Jarsonbeck; one sister, Beth Jones; life long friends, Ray and Jean Deneys, Emily Nettles; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
