William Dorsey Birdsong III

Mr. William Dorsey Birdsong III, age 61 of Lindale, Ga., passed away on Friday, July 12th, 2024, at his residence. 

Mr. Birdsong was born in Floyd County, Georgia, on February 16th, 1963. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Dorsey Birdsong Jr. and Eunice Stamey Birdsong; one sister, Mary Kay Birdsong. Mr. Birdsong was a high school graduate and held an engineering degree. He was self-employed in the Heating and Air industry. Mr. Birdsong was of the Baptist faith. 

Survivors include his son, Zackary “Zack” Birdsong and his wife Christa of Lindale; one daughter, Merritt Birdsong of Florida; daughter, Jessica Anderson; seven grandchildren, Adam, Ally, Abigail, Atlas, Alivia, Gauge, and Jackson. 

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Birdsong was cremated, and no formal services are planned.
